Once the story is over i would think that he is in a house and hiding. The setting is important without it most of the conflicts would not have happened. I chose this book because the library teacher told the class about it and i thought i might want to read it. This has also changed my view on escaping prison by learning you can escape. Ive learned that Michael does not think before doing, in know this because when he got tired he lied down not knowing what was in the grass, poison ivy. What surprised me was when the dog went after the person who stole the book bag it surprised me by having me on the edge of my seat. ![]() The only part I am confused about is when the person he met stole the backpack. Right now what I like about the book is endless suspense, but I know it always happens and it is easier to predict. ![]() He felt sorry for the dog and he gave him a piece of bread and then the dog started following him.
